is a graduate of the UCLA Screenwriting Program, as well as an elected member of a City of Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. In 2007, Stawnychy produced the Telly® Award winning harvest wind, a documentary about wind farms and green energy. Currently Stawnychy is producing Sex Offender Project, a feature documentary about sex offenders transitioning from prison-based treatment into society. This project was featured at the 2007 IFP Market Spotlight on Documentaries. In addition, he works as a location sound-recordist specializing in verité documentary. He is currently mixing sound for the national PBS series The Calling, about young people of different faiths entering the clergy and has a numerous projects in development.
